The project transforms a old deck with abandoned cabins into a public day-and-night destination, that combines ecological education, wellness, stargazing, and meditation activties.
Genuine darkness is becoming one of the rarest conditions on earth, and this peninsula still has it. Through minimal interventions, the project shifts visitors from movement to stillness, reconnecting them with the natural elements of the Fanhe Bay area: the sea, the sky, the mangroves, the mountains. An open public day-and-night destination, it combines ecological education, wellness, stargazing, and meditation across three areas—the Arrival Pier, the Cabins, and the Observatory Promenade- each returning people to natural systems and sensory conditions they have largely lost.
