The project focuses on transforming a currently abandoned site into a multi-level public landscape featuring both indoor and outdoor performance spaces for the city of burgas.

The project rejects the traditional notion of a landmark as a vertical
monument, proposing instead a landscape-first intervention that transforms
the site’s unique topography into a primary urban asset.

By reinterpreting the existing abandoned “hole” as a sheltered, multi-seasonal stage park, the design establishes an original and contextually appropriate dialogue between the historic Troykata Square and the contemporary cultural life of Burgas. This strategy focuses on reconnecting the fragmented fabric with the public ground, creating a project that serves as both a multi-use cultural hub, a vibrant public destination and a climate resilience pocket. The resulting vision creates a unique destination where heritage, ecology, and contemporary art converge to define the new civic identity of Burgas.
